At this location, Dr. Cortese, Podiatrist, employs Carol Kiley, a professional Licensed Cosmetologist trained to perform safe pedicures in a medical office setting. Carol is an experienced, licensed nail technician with advanced education. She has the skills to work in a podiatry office and to perform safe cosmetic pedicures. "I am concerned about my diabetic patients and others who have chronic diseases having pedicures in salons that might not be up to par with their infection control," says Dr. Cortese.

"Patients will now feel comfortable and healthy in our Wellness Pedicure Center. We sterilize our implements and work gently. They feel safe having these services in a spa-like intimate setting they know is perfectly clean," Dr. Carl says.
